Shares Detroit’ Mixtape On Digital Platforms

Big Sean released his mixtape Detroit on free mixtape websites on September 5, 2008, and it became an instant smash with the public.

It remains unquestionably among the finest rap mixtapes to date, and for years now, fans have been clamoring for it to be made accessible via streaming platforms as well. Sean mentioned that a remastered version of the tape will be released on DSPs in April when responding to a fan on Twitter in March, but that didn’t happen.

It seems reasonable to have delayed the distribution until today, which is the 10th anniversary.

The good news is that all of the songs from the original Detroit have been included in this version, which wasn’t always simple due to clearance issues. Detroit is currently accessible on all streaming sites. Additionally, Sean added an additional track to it from 2019 called “More Thoughts” as well.
