
Makhadzi Wins Best Southern African Female Artists At the AFRIMA Awards (See List of Winners)
At the ninth All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA), which took place in Dakar, Senegal, on Sunday, our very own dancefloor queen Makhadzi earned her just rewards.
African celebrities from all around the continent attended the event, which took place from January 12 to 15, 2023. Several stations throughout the world carried live coverage of the award presentation.
The ceremony's “Best Southern African Female Artist of the Year” award went to Makhadzi, who was also a guest.
On her Instagram wall, she posted the happy news with the following caption:
“Congratulations i made it. Your votes counted and thank you very much for choosing me as your Best Southern African Female artist. I appreciate your support very much and Afrima thank you for recognizing my hard work.”
