Mthokozizsi Ndaba has been detained in connection with a rape case
Mthokozizsi Ndaba has gone viral after being arrested on rape charges.
Following an alleged rape incident, the singer was freed on R1.500 bond this week.
On August 7, a 24-year-old woman accused the artist of raping her in Durban. According to the anonymous woman, they partied all night until the season 13 Idols SA runner-up offered to drive everyone home.
“On Saturday, I met Mthokozisi for the first time in a carwash. He was driving a kombi, and I was with my pals. From there, we partied till Sunday morning. Mthokozisi then volunteered to drive everyone home.”
“He claimed he'd drop me off last because he wanted to chat to me,” she added. I concurred. We then drove to a park and kissed voluntarily. But then I was nervous and requested him to stop…but he didn't.”
Apparently, when the singer undressed, he raped her. “I'm not sure when he undressed. Everything occurred so quickly. He grew aggressive and began undressing me. I begged him to stop, but he wouldn't. He raped me and was pleased with himself.”
Her effort to flee the kombi was thwarted by shut doors. Following the event, the woman proceeded to the Kwa-Mashu police station to submit a rape accusation and then to a local clinic for medical attention.
