Before he hangs up the mike as a solo artist, Styles P is leaving with a bang.
The Yonkers-born MC’s latest song, “Death Before Dishonor” featuring Brady Watt, was released on Friday. As per usual, Styles P doesn’t hold back, and the song’s catchy melody is tied together by Watt’s soothing vocals. In his most recent song, P takes on spacey production while describing his existence on the streets and the respect he commands before drawing comparisons to his influence on hip-hop. DJ Premier doesn’t contribute any tracks to the album, but Styles P shows off his reach with a phone call interlude from the well-known DJ. P continues to establish himself as one of the most kind-hearted MCs alive with this outstanding effort.
