PdotO drags and criticise SA rappers
PdotO has taken to his social media platform to criticize some of the compliments South African rappers receive from their fans. The star has come out to reveal that SA rappers are always thriving to get the best out of themselves yet, they are not getting enough compliments from their fans. Taking to Twitter, PdotO stated that his biggest concerns with the treatment rappers have been getting from their own fans. In his words, he says that it breaks his heart when fan call a SA rapper the American version instead of telling them how much effort was put into making this piece of art.
In the same tweet, the rapper further expressed that SA artists put so much time and effort into creating a sound just for themselves-not an imitation or copycat artist -yet they are still being told these kind words by so many people. It's an insult
One of my biggest concerns is when a supporter calls a SA rapper the South African ' jay z, Drake, Eminem etc.. Truly breaks my spirit.
Many SA artist put their life in their music and want to be seen as individuals NoT SA versions of… Such and such
