Teenager Arrested in PnB Rock Murder; Police Want Shooter’s Father.

In connection with the murder of PnB Rock, a 17-year-old was detained.

The rapper was shot on September 12 as he entered a Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles, according to the LAPD’s first announcement on Wednesday morning that Freddie Lee Trone is the man they have identified as “a person involved” in the incident. Law enforcement officials tell NBC LA that the first suspect caught was held close to Gardena on Tuesday morning.

The 17-year-old son of Freddie Trone was reportedly the individual detained, according to TMZ. The son was the shooter, while his father Freddie was in charge of the getaway car, according to the newspaper’s sources. After the event, the stated automobile was reportedly set on fire. Freddie Trone, a longstanding street gang member in South Los Angeles, is still wanted by police.

According to reports, Freddie and his kid were already in the restaurant’s parking lot when PnB Rock and his date showed up, according to TMZ. This seems to rule out the likelihood and prior claims that the killers’ arrival at the scene, which was apparently roughly 20 minutes apart, was caused by his GF posting their location on Instagram.
